My Journey

Madhumita Jena is a professionally trained artist from Odisha, holding double postgraduate degrees and possessing a strong academic foundation that informs her creative discipline. From an early age, she has been actively associated with various non-governmental organizations, which has shaped her socially conscious approach to art and community engagement.

Her artistic practice draws profound inspiration from Odisha’s indigenous culture, traditional motifs, and folk narratives. Blending heritage with contemporary techniques, she develops original compositions that reflect both cultural authenticity and modern visual language.

Madhumita’s work seeks to preserve and reinterpret regional identity while making it accessible to wider audiences.
